Sessions last generally from 45 minutes to 1 hour and are organized by appointment (always favor quiet moments, even for an animal).
Whenever the context allows, at the time agreed, be comfortably dressed and lying down, possibly with sweet music playing at a low level, simply relaxing, eyes closed. Don't worry about the precise moment of the end of a session. Trust your feeling rather than the clock about calmly going back about your business.
Otherwise, reiki will be transmitted whatever the situation of the recipient at the time of the appointment.
